Sentence of the day

An English sentence every day

Each day there is one new English sentence to listen to and write down. It comes from today’s daily dictation, read aloud in natural English. Type what you hear, send it, and see each word checked, with every mistake explained.

One sentence takes about a minute, so it is an easy daily habit. When you want more, the full daily dictation has a whole short text, and every level from A1 to C1 gets new dictations each day.

Where does the sentence of the day come from?

It is taken from today’s daily dictation, a short text in natural English that is new every day. Tomorrow there is a new sentence.

How do I practise with an English sentence of the day?

Play the sentence, replay it as often as you need, then type exactly what you hear and send it. You see which words were right, which were missing or wrong, and why each mistake was easy to make.

Is one sentence a day enough to improve my English?

It is a good start: a little listening every day keeps your ear in practice. For faster progress, add the full daily dictation, which takes about 10 minutes.
