First Laundry Day
On Saturday, I tried the laundromat alone for the first time. I sorted my shirts and chose the largest machine. But its round door would not close properly. A blue sock was caught in the rubber seal. I pulled it free and heard coins jingle. Then two coins fell from the sock onto the floor. I used them to pay for the wash. The sock had saved my first laundry day.
